MILLWORK SHOP FOREMAN
Woodrose Woodworking is looking for a shop foreman/lead hand to grow with our expanding workforce. the position would involve ensuring a safe and productive work environment for production workers, quality control, and training new additions to the Woodrose team.
Position:
- Manage projects from time of award to completion
- Manage 25-30 employees
- Attend shop production meetings and co-ordinate with Project Manager.
- Understand and Implement Shop Safety standards
- Manage production throughout shop
- Provide quality control and problem solve time constraint issues
- A working knowledge of AWMAC and AWS standards will be an added value.
Requirements:
- Looking for smart, positive person that works well with others.
- A working knowledge of, Shop Drawings, Millwork Construction, Standard Millwork Machinery, People Friendly, Daily correspondence, Teamwork through leadership.
- Must understand Millwork Joinery and how to push a project forward to follow a project timeline while coordinating team.
- Excellent communications skills, must have strong organisational skills.
- Must be willing to learn and be able to listen as well as delegate.
Wage: $34-$40/hour Compensation based on experience
