A chair fit for a queen!

It is still unfinished, as we are trying to figure out what finish will work best with the cutouts in the 13 ply Baltic birch plywood. These can be shipped flat and assembled at home!

Zoey thoroughly approves of it in the meantime though 👑👸🏼

We got a new toy not that long ago...the laser for our CNC.

Let me tell you, it has been a learning curve, and we can't wait to make better, fancier cribbage boards (and other things too of course). This board certainly falls into the 'seconds' category, with the alignment of the laser and carving not lining up to each other properly, the numbers not being clean and the cover to the game pieces needing some work, but oh boy is it ever still beautiful! Again, with that curly maple 😍

Wood Care Basics

When it comes to your wooden cutting boards, there are a few things you want to do:

- Wash it regularly after use, but do not soak in water, and never wash in the dishwasher
- Dry it as soon as you're done cleaning it
- Condition the wood regularly when it starts to look dull (typically every 1 to 3 months depending upon use)

We make our own Board Butter out of food grade mineral oil and locally sourced beeswax 🐝 My last batch of our 2oz tins are pictured here. You don't want to use cooking oils to condition you board as they can go rancid on you, causing your board to smell awful.

Another example of how we take your ideas and bring them to life! The design was requested to be the hand drawn initials provided to us of the couple wanting the coasters. These were made with end grain walnut, and the maple is inlayed in it to be able to keep the beautiful dark boarder and thin penstroke lines.
