Moss has an amazing life cycle 🌱 Species can reproduce through a variety of methods, including cloning themselves.

In this photo, the moss is reproducing through bright red sporophytes that will release spores that can be spread by wind, water, and animals.

This type of reproduction helps moss expand its genetic diversity and reach new environments.

Celebrate summer with a fun new activity! 🌞🌱Join me on Thursday, August 13th from 6-7:30PM at Square 1 Coffee: Glenora to build your own terrarium. Bring a friend and enjoy a drink or snack while you build.

I'm so excited to offer this workshop at Square 1 Coffee again after the last one sold out so quickly. This workshop is perfect for beginners and green thumbs 👍

Moss table and bench? Yes please 💚🌱 When I travel, I always look for moss!

I saw some incredible moss in Portugal 🇵🇹 If you zoom in on the third photo you can spot me laying on a lovely moss couch 😉

Thank you for your support and patience during my trip to Portugal and Spain last month. My shop has reopened and I'm accepting orders, custom projects and workshop bookings again 🌟

Now I need to go back through my camera roll and see if I can identify some of the moss species...

Join me on June 8th from 7-9PM for a Fairy Garden Terrarium Workshop at Square 1 Coffee: Glenora in Edmonton 🌿🌟

Tickets are $65 each and include all of the plants, tools and materials for the terrarium. Plus, you get to choose special decor from my collection of handmade fairy garden miniatures.

Invite your friends or family to enjoy some quality time together (plus a drink or sweet treat from the cafe). There is limited seating available, so get your tickets while you can!

Note: Although my shop is temporarily closed for spring vacation, you are still able to purchase tickets to this workshop. The workshop will take place after my return!

"A sword yields no strength unless the hand that holds it has courage." 🗡

This Legend of Zelda themed terrarium was a great challenge to build! From sculpting the Master Sword to building the terrarium, everything was done with my hands 👐

I don't usually make miniatures this big- the sword is as big as my hand! I sculpted it around a bamboo skewer to add durability and mounted the sword onto the rocks with E6000 adhesive. While the glue was curing, I held it suspended in place with a wire.

OH and the blade of the sword glows in the dark 👻

The next step is letting everything acclimate for a few weeks before I send the finished product off to its new home 💙

Enjoyed a rad workshop with Wolf Willow Dental at The Faculty 🥂 Can't think of a better way to enjoy jazz music, snacks, and plants 🪴

So many of us have such busy lives...these workshops are a great chance for us adults to get our hands dirty and enjoy a little play time! 😋

The Faculty is a lovely hidden gem of a rental space on Whyte Ave- definitely check it out!

Thank you to this lovely group for making me part of tonight's party.
