MelSeth Contracting Inc. Transforming homes with stunning renovations. From small upgrades to complete makeovers. MelSeth Contracting Inc.

My name is Mel Macalanda, and I am the owner/founder of MelSeth Contracting Inc. who specialize in home renovations, basement development, handyman services, etc. Prior to starting my own company, I worked as a Site Superintendent for a prominent builder, where my focus was on residential projects. During my time there, I worked with numerous tradespeople and observed their workmanship. While some were exceptional at their craft, others cut corners and did poor quality work. Because of that I was motivated to start my own business because I am passionate about helping people and educating them on what they need to do to improve their homes. With my background in Construction Management/Contracting, I am able to provide high-quality services and ensure that my clients are satisfied with the work I do. Vision Statement:

To be the leading construction/contracting company that provides exceptional quality and innovative solutions for our clients' building needs, while fostering sustainable growth and development in the communities we serve. Mission Statement:

At MelSeth Contracting Inc., we are committed to providing reliable and professional services to our clients, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. We strive to deliver projects on time and within budget, utilizing the latest technology and industry best practices. Our mission is to build strong and lasting relationships with our clients, employees, and stakeholders, and to contribute to the betterment of our communities through our work.

After a flood, have your furnace and hot water tank inspected—even if they seem to be working at first.

We have a client whose hot water tank is no longer working after a flood. We’ve also seen equipment work for a while and then develop problems later. That’s why a post-flood inspection is so important.

MelSeth Contracting specializes in restoration, and MelSeth Mechanical provides licensed plumbing and heating services. Our MelSeth Mechanical team can inspect your furnace and hot water tank and document their condition. This information may help support your insurance records if problems arise later.

Supplied and installed one new natural draft gas hot water tank. Drained and removed the existing water heater, then installed the new unit in the original location. Reconnected the cold and hot water lines, gas line, temperature and pressure relief valve, and venting. Filled the tank, purged air from the system, tested all water and gas connections for leaks, verified proper draft at the draft hood, lit the pilot, and confirmed normal burner operation. Unit is operating properly with no water or gas leaks at the time of completion.

🏡 Fence Transformation Complete!

Swipe through these before and after photos to see the difference.

The old fence was leaning, weathered, and reaching the end of its life. We removed the existing fence and installed a brand-new wood privacy fence that follows the grade of the property while providing strength, privacy, and curb appeal.

This project completely changed the look of the backyard and gave the homeowner a fence built to last for years to come.

Thank you to our client for trusting us with this project!

Quality over quantity. No shortcuts. Built right the first time.
