Snow removal is a funny business.

Our biggest variable is something we have absolutely no control over…

We can’t schedule it.
We can’t speed it up.
We definitely can’t negotiate with it.

So instead, we prepare.

It turns out, running a business on uncertainty teaches you a lot about business in general.

(Still waiting for Mother Nature to accept our meeting request, though.)

Find a campsite on the Friday of a long weekend.

And start shopping for Valentine’s Day on February 13.

But in all seriousness…

The best time to plan for winter is when no one else is thinking about it and for snow removal contracts, that time is now.
