Hello and Thank You for visiting. My name is Eric and I specialize in growing very small, happy trees.
I cultivate small batches of trees (often from seed) to create pre-bonsai, starter material, and seedlings of species that are generally considered appropriate for use by Bonsai Hobbyists. While I do grow some tropicals and temperate trees, my main focus is on growing trees that are hardy enough to survive my local zone 3 climate without an excess of protection or winter care.
My trees are born, live, and thrive well within the Edmonton city limits. They are always outdoors, often experiencing all the same harsh weather, poor air quality, and other environmental stresses that accompany city life.
My goal is to help people with any level of expertise, especially beginners, to grow their own beautiful potted trees. The prospect of keeping a bonsai tree may seem daunting or overwhelming, but if you're eager to try, I'd be happy to help you get started.
I make every effort to ensure the tree you buy has been grown in such a way as to give you the maximum potential for creating a beautiful Bonsai tree. A tree that you can proudly admire, display, and enjoy for many years.
If there is something in particular you're looking for, please feel free to reach out. Even if it's something I don't carry, I can do my best to point you towards someone who may. For now, since my operation is still small and only a few years old, my tree selection is limited to young, semi-trained material.
