Hello, blue sky! Hello, sunshine!

Skylights are a highlight that makes a huge impact on any room. Natural light is always a commodity, but skylights also offer architectural interest and an added dynamic.

Take a look at this newly-renovated ensuite, and try to imagine the space without the skylight — it's a game changer.

We're back with the second story of this recent top-to-bottom makeover in Sherwood Park.

This 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath house went on the market as soon as the paint was dry, and sold in no time. Our last post toured the main floor with a fantastic open-concept kitchen (including one of the biggest islands you'll see), and today we head upstairs, where there's a huge, sun-flooded bonus space overlooking the mature landscaping.

You'll get a glance of the master en suite, but it's something space that will get its own post — stay tuned!

What sells a house? A top-to-bottom renovation!

We did a complete makeover for this house — light paint, contemporary fixtures, a beautiful new kitchen, modern fireplace, updated bathrooms, doors, floors, and a fantastic central stairwell that ties everything together.

Here's a tour of the main floor, but come back for the equally-impressive second story.

And yes, this four-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath house in Sherwood Park sold immediately✔️

The most whimsical wallpaper + the most finicky installation = the most fantastic result 🦄✨🍊

This guest bathroom gets an A+ not just because the designer Dear Dwelling Interiors was bold and on point, but a seasoned professional absolutely nailed the painstaking installation to ensure every detail lined up perfectly.

Check out the finished space — do you like it?

Would you choose a wild wallpaper if you knew it would look this good??

Repeat clients — another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review!

We couldn't be more grateful to work with such incredible people.

"We first chose Shignanski for their detailed estimate, and felt that they really understood the goals we had for our main floor reno. During the project we were very happy with their willingness to accommodate as we were living on site the entire time. Kurt was excellent getting our project started and Darrin was instrumental in seeing it through. Quality work by all trades, good communication, on time and on budget!! We would not hesitate to use Shignanski Construction for any future projects."

Rocks and water go together. And, smooth stones feel lovely underfoot.

Paired with organically-inspired vertical ceramic tiles, which add a contemporary flare, the river rock floor in this shower also honours the natural setting surrounding this rural property.

Love how this kitchen renovation turned out 👌

The huge island provides all the counter space you'd want, but also has a custom w**e rack, the microwave, and seating at the far end.

White and wood tones are a timeless compliment, and the brass flourishes of the faucet and cabinet hardware elevate the luxury feel of the space.

Make note of the fridge — it has enough wow power that we're giving it a dedicated post. Follow and watch for it!

Big, beautiful tiles handled by a pro Innovative Tile Works Ltd. - Edmonton

Just because it's a basement bathroom doesn't mean it shouldn't be as beautiful as any other.

Oversized Italian ceramic tiles deliver a luxurious feel, while the light colour keeps the room bright. And having a seasoned professional install them is where the polish really shines.

Watch the action, and check out the finished product. Do you love this tile as much as we do?
