We’re proud to share that Chandos has once again been recognized as a Top Contractor by On-Site Magazine. This year, our Bella Coola Centennial Pool project is also featured in the Top 40 Contractors issue.

Located in a remote coastal community, the Bella Coola Centennial Pool project presented unique logistical and construction challenges. Coordinating material deliveries and navigating limited site access required careful planning and strong collaboration. Our team managed to keep the project moving forward while maintaining schedule and quality.

The feature highlights how adaptability, partnership, and commitment helped bring this important community asset to life.

Our Edmonton team recently spent time volunteering with Basically Babies, helping give donated items a second life.

From cleaning tiny footwear to sorting toys, onesies, and blankets, the team supported the thoughtful process that goes into each bundle. Basically Babies supports newborns in extreme need, and every item is carefully sorted and colour‑matched to help families prepare for a baby’s first year.

Chandos recently joined The Nelson Civic Theatre Society and Cover Architecture to mark a major milestone with a public groundbreaking for the redevelopment of the Nelson Civic Theatre.

The renewed theatre will transform the space into a fully accessible, three‑screen cultural hub, restoring the original auditorium while adding two new screening spaces.

As an integrated amenity within Coronation Park Sports and Recreation Centre, Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre plays an important role in supporting health, wellness and everyday recreation in Edmonton.

This phased rehabilitation focused on improving facility accessibility, safety, comfort and energy performance to create a more inviting experience for users today, while supporting the building’s long-term longevity.

The project strikes a balance between renewal and respect for the original design, helping ensure this community amenity continues to serve Edmontonians for decades to come.

Our Toronto team recently spent some time in the sun giving back at the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences.

The team helped renew existing garden beds, removing the original beds and replacing them with new ones so the space can be fully used and enjoyed by patients. These gardens offer a quiet place to spend time outdoors, and we’re proud to help bring them back into use.

Our Calgary team has successfully completed the first of three interior fit outs for WestJet within the Calgary International Airport.

The WestJet Airside Lounge, once a series of former retail units, has been fully demolished and rebuilt into a refreshed, modern space for employees in the International Terminal. Throughout the project, our team navigated a highly regulated airport environment, coordinating approvals and construction to ensure operations at YYC continued uninterrupted.

The result is a dedicated employee space that supports WestJet crews with a comfortable place to recharge, reset, and stay connected during their shifts.

Construction is underway on the Mississippi Mills Childcare Services expansion in Almonte, ON, in partnership with CSV Architects and Thomas Cavanagh Construction.

This 13,000 sq. ft. facility will significantly increase access to licensed childcare, adding 78 new spaces and supporting up to 151 children through the Canada‑wide Early Learning and Child Care system.

Designed with bright learning environments and nature‑based outdoor play, the new facility will support working families and create a welcoming space for children to grow, and connect. We’re excited to see the positive impact this project will have on the Mississippi Mills community.
