• WHY? You ask?? This is why👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Well the roof is back on!! 🇨🇦
Everything fit like a glove 👌🏻🧤
People ask all the time why we do this on the floor and crane it off and crane it back on.
This is why. This roof took about 1 hour to frame, 45 mins to sheet, 15 minutes to crane off and 25 minutes to crane back on and 15 minutes to nail it all down and tie it in and fill lifting patches
Not only is it safer cause now we don’t have to have guys up top and risking the chance of tripping and slipping when it’s frosty in the morning, no need to hang fascia dangling on your knees to nail it on.
Don’t have to setup sheets in 3 places and being roof is a 10/12, sheeting it up top would have taken way longer than 45 minutes
Some may say it’s better up top 🤷🏻‍♂️
I also find it a great way to train newer guys on roofs and get them more comfortable framing and sheeting them
