We’re Hiring – Painter Wanted!

Ghost Reconstruction Inc. is looking to add a solid painter to our team.

We’re busy, growing, and looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a strong crew.

What we offer:

$25–$45/hour (based on experience and tools provided)

• Full-time hours (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), often more offered if you want.
• Benefits package after 3 months.
• Opportunity to grow with the company
• Great compensation — from what we understand, better than most, if not all in the city.

What we’re looking for:

5 years experience.

• Own vehicle (this is mandatory)
• Own basic tools
• Someone reliable, hardworking, and easy to get along with
• Takes pride in doing clean, high-quality work

We do provide company vehicles when needed, but day-to-day you’ll need your own transportation.

Today we celebrate another 5 year work anniversary. Paul Breslin has been with us for 5 great years. He is a highly skilled Drywall finisher and a master of his craft. We are honoured and priveledged to have him on our team. Paul is a consistently kind, warm, positive guy, who is always smiling. He does top notch work for our clients, and is always elevating the standards in the industry. He's the first guy on the jobsite, and the last guy to make a fuss about anything.

We can only hope he sticks around another 5 years.

Did you know that Ghost Reconstruction specializes in large, complex, multi family flood and fire losses?

We are currently working on this loss with one of our industry partners.

Taking on these types of claims requires extreme care, attention to detail, great leadership, and plenty of experience. Working in these environments are not your typical construction site.

These buildings are often lived in, like this one. There are pets, kids, adults, and elderly walking around. This particular project has 40 affected units, and 4 common halls/stairwells affected on 4 levels.

Keeping the building safe, and clean are a non-stop ongoing effort, and our team treats this objective as one of our top priorities.

Communication is crucial on a project like this. There are over 40 people that are parties of interest on this project. Our duty is to ensure things operate as, and are completed as promised, to ensure our clients phones aren't ringing off the hook with concerns.

As many in the industry know, it's easier said than done on a project like this, but Ghost Reconstruction is always up to the challenge. You can certainly count on us to rebuild these projects with care, empathy, and kind, courteous, clean, highly skilled trades.

Wow, we thought we'd seen it all. Check out the "heating system" we saw at this old farmhouse that flooded today.

Ingenuity?

Hot water lines ran to little radiators. Metal fans ontop blowing the radiant heat from the radiators through the floor sheathing to the upper level.

Basement is currently heated by fireplace.

This lasted 25 years before it didn't!

They are upgrading to forced air now.

This guy can tint paint in the back of his truck! He's old school, has a consistent personality, and does near perfect work every time he steps on site.

He can make the pickiest of clients smile and goes out of his way everyday to ensure this happens.

He's here every day and puts in a solid and strong effort for our clients.

Today we celebrate someone very special.

This someone is celebrating 10 years with Ghost Reconstruction and is the first person at Ghost to hit this milestone!

Daniel Pulongbarit, Congratulations!!!

You have been with us since the beginning of our restoration industry journey.

You are everything a company needs to succeed.

For those who don't know Daniel:

-He is happy to be here.
-He believes that everyone can be great at something and strives to find those qualities in people daily.
-He will work with team members advantages and disadvantages.
-He works with his heart. He has an empathetic approach to everyone and everything.
-He has Ghost in his veigns and will do anything he can to promote us and ensure we succeed as a team.
-He has stuck with us through Covid, and all of our ups and downs.
-He has helped us build our team and played a key role in the field development.
-He started here as a drywaller, moved into a foreman role, then a field supervisory role, and now, a Project Manager.
-He is always smiling.
-He has a very consistent and positive personality.
-He is an overall stand-up guy and gentleman.

Daniel, you have a heart of gold. You are a great human being. You have contributed so much to our company and played a huge part in the overall success, development and growth of our team, and our company as a whole.
