OPENING WEEKEND! The flower garden will finally be open for u-pick tomorrow, Saturday, August 29th and Sunday, August 30th, from 10am-6pm, drop in, no appointment required. The record rainfall has required a lot of patience and a lot of thinking outside the box, but the garden is finally looking like it should. There are lots of flowers to make beautiful bouquets, including a fresh round of white sunflowers. Address is 4815-127 street SW. See you this weekend!

First handful of flowers. I’ve had a lot of people asking how the flowers are doing and the honest answer is they’re doing ok. Everything seems really far behind I feel like I’m one storm away from total destruction. So…will there be flowers? Yes, providing I don’t get hit by a wicked storm…there will be flowers…at some point, date to be determined.

The first dahlia of the season. I’m not sure yet how the flower field will turn out as there have been significant losses in some areas due to flooding. But for now, I’m going to focus on the absolute perfection of this dahlia. 😍😍😍
