This June, Kevcon Construction celebrates 10 years in business, and that means a lot to me.

When I started Kevcon, I had a vision of building a company people could trust. Not just for quality exterior services, but for the kind of experience they had working with us and within our team. Early on in construction, I bounced from job to job where some employers were fly-by-night, pay was unreliable, and the work environment was often full of yelling, screaming, and stress. Back then, that seemed to be normal in the industry. I knew I wanted to build something different.

I wanted to create a company with a professional, functional, and trusting work environment. A place where people could take pride in what they do, be treated with respect, work as a team, and build something solid together. A business that delivered quality work to clients, but also one that people were proud to be part of. Turns out, you can get the job done without throwing tools or losing your mind.

Looking back, the last 10 years have been rewarding, humbling, and full of lessons. It has not always been easy. Like any business, there have been challenges, learning curves, mistakes, and moments that tested us. But every one of those experiences helped shape Kevcon into the company it is today.

We have grown slowly and strategically over the years, always focused on progress over shortcuts. Building the right team, strengthening our systems, improving our service, and staying committed to quality has been a big part of that journey.

To our team, thank you. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment have helped make Kevcon what it is. The pride you take in your work and the effort you put into serving our clients does not go unnoticed.

Kevcon Construction is looking for a confident, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who can manage multiple priorities, communicate professionally with clients and suppliers, and help keep daily office operations on track.

In this position, you will play an important role in supporting both our office and field teams. Responsibilities include client communication, scheduling and coordination, assisting with financial and administrative tasks, maintaining accurate and organized records, and helping ensure smooth communication between clients, suppliers, and team members. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, resourceful, and committed to contributing to the success of the business.

What weโ€™re looking for:

-Strong organizational and time management skills
-Excellent communication and customer service abilities
-Confidence managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities
-High attention to detail and accuracy
-A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude

'Nice cavity'....said no one ever.

This is a hole straight into a wall cavity.
We found it during a roof inspection along with several flashing details that were installed incorrectly or not supported properly.

Openings like this let water, air, bugs โ€” and sometimes animals โ€” right into the building envelope.
We fixed the issues and sealed everything properly so the system works the way it should.

Mistakes happen in construction.
