🌱 Caring for your cedar garden box is easy! 🌿
Over time, cedar naturally turns a beautiful silver-grey — this is normal and part of its charm!
If you decide to paint your garden box however, make sure you paint every nook and cranny — inside, outside, top, and bottom with a non toxic paint — to prevent moisture from becoming trapped in the wood.
Do not stain the inside of the garden box, as stain can be toxic to your plants and more importantly to you.
To help your garden boxes legs last as long as possible, keep them off the dirt and place them in a well-drained area so moisture doesn't collect around the wood.
Windy Acres Mill also recommends a water barrier between the soil and the wood in the garden box to prevent wood rot.

Looking to refresh your space or add a unique touch to your home? I specialize in small renovations and custom woodworking, bringing craftsmanship and attention to detail to every project.

Here is a project I worked on a couple months ago. I created working platforms to assist with the maintenance of a Seed Cleaning Plant. I was very happy with the way they turned out and had to use them myself a couple months later. They worked perfectly!
