🚨 Installing an Above Ground Pool This Summer? Read This First 🚨

Many homeowners don’t realize that pool bonding requirements have changed under the current Ontario Electrical Safety Code requirements.

Depending on your pool setup and surrounding surface, an equipotential bonding grid may now be required around your above-ground pool to help improve electrical safety and reduce shock hazards around wet areas. ⚡🏊

What does this mean?

✔️ A 1’ × 1’ bonding grid may be required around the pool perimeter
✔️ Grid extends approximately 3’ (1m) around the pool in many situations
✔️ All required metallic components must be bonded together
✔️ Best to complete this before landscaping, decking, or patios are finished

This is something many homeowners and even some pool installers don’t realize until inspection time.

We recently completed another compliant pool bonding installation to meet current requirements ✔️
