R&R is currently looking for a full-time, on-site role for a Journeyman Welder based in Estevan, SK. The Journeyman Welder will be responsible for performing various welding tasks, including arc, TIG, and MIG welding, and working with various materials to fabricate, assemble, repair, and maintain components and equipment as required. This role will require attention to detail, the ability to follow blueprints and technical specifications, and adherence to safety standards and protocols in all welding operations.
Qualifications
-Proficiency in Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
-Strong knowledge and experience working with different types of materials used in welding
-Understanding of safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance during welding operations
-Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
-Relevant certification or trade qualification as a Journeyman Welder
-Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
-A strong commitment to precision and attention to detail
-Physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
-Previous experience in the oil and gas or mining industry is an asset
-First Aid, H2S, Fall Protection, and PME training considered an asset
