This is the second time I’ve owned a Frigidaire fridge/freezer combo with a trim kit — and the second time the internal water line has failed.

The first failure caused $30,000 in damage while we were away. Now, in a brand-new house, days before leaving again, the fridge is leaking once more. The only difference this time is that we were home and caught it before another disaster.

There is absolutely no excuse for this. In 2026, a so-called premium appliance should not be capable of flooding a home without any automatic shutoff or failsafe. That’s not innovation — that’s negligence.

This isn’t bad luck. This is a design failure, and it’s unacceptable. I expected quality and reliability. What I got was stress, risk, and thousands of dollars in potential damage — again.

Extremely angry. Extremely disappointed. Do better.
