Fresh harvest day 🌱
Nicole’s weighing out a beautiful batch of pea microgreens and showing how we pack them to keep them crisp and fresh in the fridge. Simple steps, less waste, and homegrown greens ready for meals all week.

Would you store them whole or pre-cut? 👇
Drop a 🌱 if you’re growing microgreens too!

Nic was on fire in the kitchen today 🔥🍑🌶️ Turning our early fall garden haul into Peach Habanero hot sauce — in two heat levels! Plus, we’ve got lovage, sage, and oregano dehydrated and ready for the cold cellar. Filling it up one batch at a time 💪🌱

What’s your go-to hot sauce recipe? 👇

🔥 Spicing Up Our Winter!
Nicole’s in the kitchen canning fresh garden jalapeños in a simple brine—5% acidity vinegar, water, sugar, and spices (pickling salt, peppercorn, bay leaf, mustard seed). We keep the brine simmering and jars sterilized in the oven for that perfect seal.

This is one of the easiest ways to preserve jalapeños for the winter, and we can’t wait to pop these open when the snow hits! ❄️🌶️

👉 How do you use jalapeños? Got a favorite recipe? Drop it in the comments—we’re always looking for new ideas!

Unbelievable shot from Nic 🔥The garden has brought some creatures we are not used to seeing all the time.

Garlic scape harvest is finally here! 🧄🔥 These beauties are getting pan-fried tomorrow and we’re already drooling. 🤤

Also did a little potato TLC—our plants are flowering, so we snipped off what we could to help them focus energy on making those delicious underground treasures instead of flowers and seeds.

Anyone else harvesting garlic scapes or managing flowering spuds? Drop a 🌱 if you’re in the same boat!
