Winmar Fredericton is hiring a new Project Manager!!
Position Overview
Reporting to the General / Operations Manager, the Project Manager estimates equipment, manpower, cost of project, and materials required to accomplish each project using industry approved software. The PM manages existing client relationships and foster and grow new relationships with industry partners.
Job Duties
● Respond to Emergencies on a 24 hour on call basis on a rotation schedule
● Dispatch emergency crews to complete emergency assignments
● Establish scope and standards of construction projects
● Estimate equipment, manpower, cost of project, and materials required to accomplish each project using industry approved software
● Inspects buildings to determine work needed to maintain buildings to code and desired standards
● Ensure all Company protocol is followed, and industry standard Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) are met or exceeded
● Manage existing client relationships and foster and grow new relationships with industry partners
● Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to
● Provide excellent customer service
● Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines
● Ensure attention to detail and keen sense of safeguarding other people’s property and information
● Will practice good housekeeping at all times to ensure a safe and non-cluttered worksite
● Participates in and demonstrates an understanding of safety principles and practices; follows all safety policies and procedures to support a safe working environment, including safe operation of machines and equipment
● Comply with all WINMAR® policies and procedures, as well as legislative requirements
● Proactively communicate job site conditions and concerns that may or are affecting completion of the job to the appropriate person
● Attend all WINMAR® sponsored training courses
Qualifications
● 3+ years experience preferably in Restoration industry
● Construction / Restoration / Insurance experience preferred
● IICRC certification in Fire and Smoke, Odour Control and/or Water Damage preferred
● Experience managing people and projects
● Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices
● Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per WINMAR®’s vehicle policy
● Ability to work within a team or independently as needed
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Proven ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
● Computer and/or tablet/iPad experience with Microsoft Office
● Knowledge and experience with industry programs is essential (Docusketch, PSA)
● Willing to work evenings, on call and weekends when requested
● Periodic travel may be required
