☕ This week’s coffee drop went to Swifty's 15 Minute Oil Change Ltd. on Bishop Drive

We stopped in with some coffee for the crew keeping Fredericton drivers moving with quick service and busy bays all day long.

As a bonus, Mark managed to multitask and got his oil change done while he was there… so technically this may have been our most productive coffee drop yet 😂

Always great stopping in to support another hardworking local crew.

Also can we talk about the real highlight of this job visit… that dog 🐶 Lisa may or may not have attempted to negotiate taking him home as payment for the heat pump during the assessment 😂

Heat pump emergency! 🚨

…sends Matt and Mark 😂

"We" arrived on scene to find this outdoor unit hanging on for dear life. The old brackets had officially retired and this heat pump was making plans to leave the building.

No worries though. Matt and Mark got it safely back where it belongs with brand new brackets, level, secure, and ready to get back to work 💪

Moral of the story: your heat pump should keep you comfortable… not keep us wondering if it’s about to hit the ground 😂

Forgot to turn your air conditioner on this morning? ☀️😬

Here’s what you shouldn’t do.

If you get home and your house is already hot, don’t immediately crank your ductless heat pump down to the lowest setting possible trying to cool it as fast as possible.

Instead, start by turning cooling on and setting it around 26° or 27°.

As the house begins to cool and humidity starts coming down, gradually lower your setting to 24° to 25° and then down to your normal comfort temperature.

Heat pumps are designed to maintain temperature, not quickly get there.

Trying to cool too much too quickly can create a lot of condensation and if your drain is partially restricted or overdue for cleaning, that’s when people may start noticing water leaking from the indoor unit.

ATMO 150 HRV installed in Oromocto to replace an older system that could no longer be repaired due to unavailable parts 👌 Fresh air and reliable ventilation back in action.

But the best part of this install? Meeting a new Jake 🐶
Probably best not to make it a competition over who the better Jake is, right? 🤔 Poor Shaw wouldnt stand a chance against this handsome fella 😂🐕
