His creativity continues to fascinate us. It is inspiring to see how human imagination can work with the existing natural surroundings to create something so unique.

Now, our job is to maintain and preserve its beauty. 🌿🪨

After a long day of physical work, returning to town feels especially fulfilling. It is hard work, but meaningful work.

When you work with nature, you need to follow nature’s rhythm. 🌿

This property had not been maintained for three years. During that time, nature continued to grow.

Birch, spruce, and oak saplings appeared everywhere and slowly began taking over the trails.

In nature, everything is about timing. 🌱

A Meaningful Place in the Garden🏡

When we start a garden maintenance job, we often ask our clients, “Where would you like us to start?”

Usually, they ask us to clear the front garden, open up the view from the windows, or clean around a statue or another special feature.

This time our client said, “Please start around the swimming pool.”

I asked, “Why don’t we start with the front garden?”

She insisted, “The swimming pool.”

Then I realized that the pool is probably one of the most meaningful places for her family during the summer—a place where her children spend time, play, and make memories.

Getting to know what matters to our clients makes garden work more interesting.
A garden is not only about plants and beauty. It is also about the people who enjoy and live in the space.

Designing for Today — and Tomorrow 🌿

This year, we were asked to design a garden for a beautiful heritage building.

Our goal was to let the architecture stand out while creating a landscape that will become more beautiful with time.

🌲 Year 1 — Trees
We started with evergreen trees and columnar plants to establish the long-term structure. They will take time to grow and reach their full potential.

🌿 Year 2 — Shrubs
As the framework develops, shrubs can be added to build the middle layer and create more depth.

🌱 Year 3 — Perennials
Perennials gradually fill the spaces between trees and shrubs, bringing texture and seasonal interest year after year.

🌸 Year 1–3 — Annuals
For immediate impact and upcoming events, we use annual flowers to provide instant colour and beauty while the permanent plants are still establishing.

A garden doesn’t need to be completely full on day one.

Good garden design is about understanding how plants grow and planning for the future.

Design for today.
Plan for tomorrow. 🌱

🌿 August To-Do List for Your Lawn & Garden

Today, we did a lawn and garden maintenance job at one of our garden clients. 🍃

There are a few August tips we’d like to share with you:

🌱 Let grass clippings work for you.
If your lawn is healthy, you can mow without a bagger and leave fine grass clippings on the lawn. They return nutrients to the soil and help your lawn become thicker and healthier.

🌾 Thinking about overseeding?
August can be a good time to overseed when soil temperatures are warm enough for germination. Keep the soil consistently moist while the new grass establishes.

🌸 Keep your annual flowers blooming!
Regular watering and fertilizing provide the nutrients annual flowers need to keep producing beautiful blooms throughout the summer.

A little August care can make a big difference in the health and beauty of your garden. 💚
