A bit of a 3rd life for this old hen house/work shop

This building was built with everything left over from the barn build.
1 inch boards 2 inch boards staked 3x4 stacked logs. Beam cut offs. It was all cobbled together

It served its 2nd life as our tool shed for 12-14 years or so

Being in our back yard about 10 ft from our house it became an obstacle for us. It was kinked in roof line posts where rotted roof was spreading out gable wall falling in It’s fait was not looking good

Then we decided it may work to house a hot tube and covered patio. So in a six day stretch this is what we came up with

This poor barn was literally on its last leg
Collapsed foundation. Rotted posts and beams. Fallen drive floor missing tin sagging roof and the list went on. But the boys got it turned around with some lifting twisting and pulling

This barn will be ready to shelter cattle for more years to come
