From the drawings to the dirt — and now, out of the ground. 👊

This custom residence called for some serious concrete work: site excavation, footings, heavily reinforced walls and 10-foot forms. It’s demanding work, but as Jesse McCann puts it, Team Yellow is always up to the task.

Pretty cool to watch a project move from blueprints to something built to stand for generations.

If it involves keeping people connected, keeping things organized or keeping McCann Group moving behind the scenes, there’s a pretty good chance Heather Glendinning Cadman has had a hand in it.

In our latest In The Mix, Heather takes us back to how she first joined McCann Group — and gives us a glimpse at just how many different hats she wears today.

From managing our IT systems and helping drive tools like the McCann App, to working across departments and putting an incredible amount of heart into our annual Employee Summer Party, Heather plays a huge role in bringing our team together.

And that commitment to community doesn’t stop when the workday ends. A proud Parkhill local, Heather helps organize the Parkhill Santa Claus Parade and somehow still finds the time to keep up with her running program. 🏃‍♀️🎅

Heather, we appreciate everything you do — the things everyone sees, and especially the hundreds of things happening behind the scenes that most people never do.

McCann Group simply wouldn’t run the same without you. 💛

🔥 SITE BITES: WATFORD PLANT EDITION 🍔

When the smell of burgers starts drifting across the Watford Plant, you know it’s going to be a good day.

The Site Bites crew fired up the grill with some Van Osch Farms beef burgers, feeding our drivers and Team Yellow crew as they rolled through the plant.

And when you’ve got Brendon Van Osch sharing a few tips on how to cook their burgers properly, you listen. 👨‍🍳🔥

The verdict from the Watford crew? These burgs did not disappoint.

Local beef. Hot grill. Hungry crew. That’s a pretty good combination.

Safe to say, this won’t be the last time Van Osch burgers hit the Site Bites grill. 🍔💛

Merner Contracting was in Blyth taking this structure down from the top — safely, carefully and one bite at a time.

With experienced operator Bill Preszcator behind the controls, demolition is equal parts precision and power. And judging by the view from the cab… we’re pretty sure Bill wouldn’t trade his seat for anything.

Saturday night was McCann Redi-Mix Night at Grand Bend Motorplex, and our own OneBadQuattro traded the mechanic shop for the racetrack with his BC Racing and Fabrication team!

Great racing. Great crowd. And a whole lot of horsepower.

Just another Saturday night getting our engines revving. 🏎️💨

Big work before the first bell rings. 🏗️

Sewer & Water Foreman Denver Homuth takes us inside our latest project at Mitchell High School, where Team Yellow is giving the parking lot a complete rebuild from the ground up.

New storm sewer. New sanitary sewer. Subgrade. B-Gravel. Curbs. And a whole lot of iron moving dirt. 💪

With excavators, dozers and dump trucks keeping busy, the crew is working through every layer to get this parking lot ready for the school year ahead.

Class is in session for Team Yellow. 🟡⚫

🥩 SITE BITES: BEEF BURGERS AT THE BARN 🍔

It doesn’t get much more local than this.

This edition of Team Yellow Site Bites took us right to the source of great Ontario beef — serving up some seriously good beef burgers to our Form Crew at a local farm.

Local beef. Bacon. Sautéed onions. All the fixings. And a hungry crew that had no problem putting them away. 👊
