Floor To Ceiling Home Improvements

Glad we could help make it happen!

✨ A fresh new look for Soul House! ✨

The old yellow awning is officially GONE — and I have to say, I’m pretty happy to see it go! 😂

Our building has had a beautiful refresh, and our new Soul House sign is up! It feels brighter, fresher and so much more welcoming.

This transformation definitely didn’t happen without some helping hands, and I have a few people to thank.

A huge thank you to my husband, Kire, and father-in-law, Erik, for tackling the job of taking down that awning.

To Amber at Rock Candy, thank you for lending us the scaffolding.

To Jeff at Floor to Ceiling, thank you for giving the building its fresh new paint.
And to Ben and Laura at Alpine Signs, thank you for bringing it all together with our beautiful new sign.

I’m so grateful for the people in our community who helped make this happen. ❤️
We have one more finishing touch to come — lighting for our beautiful new sign — and I can’t wait to see it all lit up!

Little by little, I’ve been working to make the outside of Soul House reflect what I hope you feel when you walk through our doors — warm, welcoming and a place where you can come to Fill Your Cup, Fill Your Soul.

I’m so excited to finally share our new look with you!

Just wanted to share a quick project we completed in early June.
Rick and Vicki wanted to get their new home painted before the moving trucks showed up. So we fixed up the drywall, gave the walls a good clean, caulked those crown mouldings (they were already up but not caulked yet!), and then painted this gorgeous home with the colors Vicki picked out. It looks amazing! The bold feature wall in Benjamin Moore Regal Select Ultra Matte (Silhouette AF 654)
The remaining walls were done using Regal Select Eggshell (swiss coffee OC 45)
And the crown moulding with Benjamin Moore Advance (swiss coffee OC 45)
We also installed some carpet in the downstairs bedroom.
A clean and fresh start ! 👍

This week we are working hard on restoring the outside of this gorgeous heritage home on Central Ave. Give us a honk and a wave if you see us when you drive by! 👋

What color do you think our client went with? 🤔

A Grand Forks Renovation; Beautiful Oak Kitchen
Here’s a look at what went into this transformation 👇

Complete Demo: Removed the existing cabinets, countertops, backsplash, drywall, and stripped away old wallpaper to start with a fresh slate.
Custom Storage: Installed stunning new clear-coated oak cabinets throughout. We maximized efficiency by adding pullouts for all lower cabinets, a Super Susan, a blind-corner pullout system, and a custom built-in pantry surrounding the refrigerator.
Modern Upgrades: Ran new plumbing and electrical to accommodate a brand-new dishwasher, quartz countertops and stainless steel undermount sink, new faucet, a sleek new range and microwave/hood fan combo.
Finishing Touches: Finished it all off with a brand-new tile backsplash, fresh paint, and crisp new trim.

Big thanks to Frank and W***y for trusting us with your home! We hope you enjoy 🙏

This June we celebrate our 5th anniversary of proudly serving the communities of Grand Forks and Christina Lake! 🥳

When we made the decision to move to Grand Forks in 2021 to be closer to family, we were uncertain about how we and our business would be received. Little did we know at the time that it would be the best decision of our lives. This city is fantastic and the people are what truly makes this a great place to live, work, and play.

We quickly formed friendships and generated work opportunities, and since then, we've been busy renovating, creating, and improving our clients' homes and commercial spaces.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to all our past, present, and future clients, as well as the entire boundary community, for your trust and collaboration these past 5 years. You have made us feel truly at home! Thank you.

Thank you for choosing FTC Improvements.

My Daughter learning to tile on 'take your child to work day'! She could be a top notch renovator one day if she chooses to ❤️

Edit: I need to take a picture of the finished floor and add it to this post to show how well it turned out.. she did awesome!
