It was a privilege to welcome the Australian delegation to our shop during their recent Canadian energy sector tour.

Hosting the delegation gave us a fantastic opportunity to walk them through our facility, showcase our operations at Prefurd, and engage in high-level discussions around industry standards, operational efficiency, and regional energy growth. Cross-border exchanges like this provide valuable perspectives for everyone involved, and we thoroughly enjoyed sharing insights with leaders from across the globe.

Congratulations to Erin Dunsworth with High Gear Water Hauling in Grande Prairie on winning the beautiful custom propane fire pit fabricated by our friend Mike Blake at Kustomshoebox's Hot Rod Welding.

What an awesome way to kick off the long weekend and an even better way to celebrate her new home too! 🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, participated in the giveaway, and joined us at the Peace Region Energy Show. It was great connecting with so many people from across the industry and community.

Prefurd Oilfield Services recently completed a pump base upgrade and piping modification for a valued client, improving both equipment reliability and environmental protection.

The existing pump was previously mounted directly to a concrete block with limited containment. Our team fabricated and installed a new pump tray designed to provide secondary containment while also helping reduce vibration transfer through the system.

The project also included piping modifications to ensure proper alignment and fit-up with the new configuration, supporting long-term maintainability and operational stability.

By integrating structural fabrication with piping adjustments, we were able to deliver a practical solution that improves performance while helping protect surrounding equipment and infrastructure.

Great work by the team delivering another reliable field upgrade.

Progress update on a current dehydration unit retrofit.

One photo shows the original condition — a corroded skid with aging piping and visible structural wear.

The second reflects where we are today: corrosion removed, steel restored, and the skid fully prepped and recoated to provide a renewed foundation for the next phase.

Upcoming scope includes:
• Separator reinstallation
• New building installation
• Final integration

Retrofitting isn’t just cosmetic — addressing corrosion and restoring structural integrity is critical to extending asset life and maintaining operational reliability.

More to come as this project progresses.
