We also had to do a repair due to unfortunate damage a year agoy. You’ll notice the color difference when it’s first done to the finish product. In this case there is quite a variation from freshly poured to final cureing.

Terrific Tuesday at the Grande Prairie cemetery

Yes you read that right. We did 280 feet of Angle curb, with dark grey color no stamps at the cemetery.

Our season is coming to a close with only a few jobs left trying to squeeze in.

Fabulous Friday in west lake

I have always liked lady bugs. They can fly, they look amazing, and they are a aphid eating machine. I like them so much, I out in my yard over 200 of them.

As we curb we get all kinds of bugs crawling over our curb as we are curbing. (Amazing how they dont develope concrete boots). On this job and most other jobs, we stop equipment and troweling if we see lady bugs. We simple don’t want to hurt them.

Wonderfull Wednesday in west lake

At this time of the year we have some simple rules we follow. Temperatures at night play a big part of those rules. If it’s getting 0 or colder late morning, as long as we have the curb done by 3-3:30 it will be fine. If it’s 0 or colder at midnight then we add accelerate to the concrete to help speed up the process. If it cold after supper then we just don’t curb or get it the next day early after prepping the day before. If those early night coldness continues we look at shutting down our curbing for the season

Wonderful Wednesday in Aspen Ridge estates and our monster curb strikes again!

Sometimes you don’t have to do your curbing all in one shot. You can do it over time. This is our third visit to this amazing home

The big difference for this curb is our monster curb, a 8x5 angle curb

It has the matching colors if cobblestone grey, and we where able to use our wapiti granite stamp on it, highlighted with black release. Curbed on top of our geotextle fabric for less maintenance. Thank you to this homeowner for trusting us for three different occasions
