🐜 Spring Pest Season – Quick Heads Up 👍

Hey everyone, I’m Leo. I work locally across Niagara and Hamilton, including Grimsby, Beamsville, Lincoln, Smithville, Winona, Hamilton, Ancaster, Burlington, Oakville, and surrounding areas. I’m one of the technicians and owners, and Ridge Pest Control holds itself to a very high standard.

With the warmer weather coming in from spring into summer, this is when pest activity really starts to increase. Insects become more active as temperatures rise and start looking for food, water, and shelter around homes and buildings.

We’ve already been getting a lot of calls lately for:
• ants getting into kitchens and basements
• general insect activity around the home
• boxelder bugs starting to show up
• rodent issues as well

What we help with:
• ant treatments that target the source of the problem
• exterior spraying for spiders and a wide range of common insects
• boxelder bug treatments
• rodent control and prevention

Our exterior treatments are applied based on the conditions around the property and the areas where pest activity is most likely after we inspect and assess the home. Homes near greenery, moisture, and water often see increased insect activity, especially as the season changes.

We’ll be starting exterior spraying once we get consistent 15° weather so treatments can be applied properly and perform the way they’re supposed to.
