HALIBURTON COUNTY, ON (Wednesday, April 2, 2025)

For Immediate Release:

The County of Haliburton and Township of Minden Hills would like to advise residents that during ongoing recovery efforts after this weekend’s significant weather event, travel throughout the County should be limited.

Many of our seasonal roads are still unpassable and travel to secondary properties is not encouraged at this time.

Winter Ice Storm:
We apologize for any inconvenience the recent Winter Ice Storm has caused in regard to getting ahold of us.

Our phone lines have been down, as well as internet.
If you need to get ahold of us we will be monitoring our social media accounts.

We hope everyone has stayed safe and warm during this storm. The County has been in a state of emergency due to the storm. & considering this Winter doesn’t want to take it easy on us, weatherman is calling for more freezing rain in coming days.
