Recent install done by JP Electric. A basement apartment added to an unfinished basement of this building. All electric and LG mini split done by JP electric, as well as moving this York air conditioner piping to accommodate framing for the apartment. We added some bracing for the bracket as well to pull the unit off of the building as there was no air flow for that side of the coil (see the original building paint behind where we pulled it out) Now they’re up and running and after some egress windows are in they’ll be able to rent.

A recent oil to electric retrofit done by JP Electric. We removed this old gravity system (installed in 1986 note that first service/repair from ‘89)that was transitioned to a pump/zone fed system some time ago when an additional zone was added to the rear of the building. Now this client has zones to supplement their heat pumps and additional space in their basement from the boiler being moved to the wall and the oil tank removed from the basement.

A recent mini split install by JP Electric. Two multis with a zone up and down on both sides. These four zones will make their home fully heated by heat pumps as they already had a mini split doing the other 3 zones in the home. On to savings for these folks.

A recent swap out performed by JP electric. This 8 year old Lennox unit was out of the warranty period. With the cold snap we just had and the client having a leak in their outdoor unit that had caused major ice build up and further damage to the outdoor fan, pan heater and other parts we were able to offer the most economical solution of installing a new unit in place. Now they have a ten year warranty so if a similar situation occurred, these parts would be covered and the repair would be possible.
(Don’t worry we left the finishing of the box we mounted the new unit to with the client to reduce cost as they are hands on homeowners, if this weren’t the case we would have painted and finished it for them!)

A recent central heat pump, water heater and service upgrade done by JP Electric. With this install being done through the oil to electric program this client was able to reduce their up front cost and begin saving money on more efficient heating systems.

Recent install of a Bosch a-coil for a client. These are excellent, quiet units and a great choice if you want to keep your propane or oil furnace but also have the option of a heat pump system.

Some ductless HRV units installed by JP electric awhile back for a client finishing a basement apartment who needed to comply with city requirements after already having drywalled and nearly finished. This solution meant no bulkheads and no ductwork ran everywhere in the finished space. Fresh air in the bedroom and stale air exiting the kitchen area. These can be a great solution for head space.

A couple of apartments that shared a service on this 3 unit building upgraded from 100 to 200 amps (100 amps per position) and electric heat installed throughout the apartment they had under construction. They are looking to use heat pumps and electricity to offset their oil bill as you can see the mini splits in the last two photos.

A couple of Tesla wall chargers installed by JP electric recently, one included with an energy management system from ! This clients load calculation brought them over the 100 amp capacity they had, so we installed this energy management system to only allow the charger to be used when the demand in the house is as low as necessary for the chargers energy consumption. This is an alternative to upgrading your service when purchasing an EV and wanting to have the capacity to fast charge.

An install of a Samsung “Wind Free” heat pump and a cleaning of a 5 year old Karda unit we installed for this client the same year JP electric was started. Samsung unit is running quietly as well as the Karda unit. This is the first cleaning this client requested and since they were on top of keeping their filters clean there wasn’t the usual amount of debris but definitely more than one would want in a device throwing air around their home. We recommend every 2-3 years for a deep clean, depending on the presence of pets and other dust creating variables.

This weeks oil to electric job. Removal of the oil fired furnace that was due for replacement and install of a brand new LG ducted electric/heat pump system. They’ll save some energy on heating while having the ability to cool in the summer. Swipe to see the new system.

This weeks install for JP electric. A new electric boiler to replace this oil system that was due for replacement! Now this family will be able to consume all the electricity they are producing with their solar panels, rather than having a negative power bill and an ongoing oil bill.
