This beautiful 160 + year old home in the heart of downtown got some MUCH needed love to support her robust balloon frame structure for many more years to come. Our engineer recommended a full rebuild of the lower half, corner post and rim board. More work is needed in the spring to keep things moving in the right direction for this historic home.
Older homes are definitely a labor of love ❤️ and what a fitting time of year for this sentiment.
