Spent the last few weeks travelling to and working on the trails in Annapolis Valley.

Beautiful trail system; just needed some maintenance in terms of vegetation removal to assist with water drainage.

We just don’t do excavation, we also do large scale road and trail side mulching/mowing to keep vegetation at bay.

When our work really matters…..

Rebuilding the trail system throughout Nova Scotia for recreational use - walking, biking, sxs, etc. - has been great. The main goal is to provide better access for ground emergency vehicles to reach remote forest areas; and tonight we got to witness that.

Happy to say the fire was under control & extinguished quickly. Great job by the Fire crews.

Over the past couple of weeks, our team has faced numerous challenges while working on the bay to bay trails, including major flooding and a near loss of a machine due to trail erosion, but we have persisted and continued with ditch work, new surfacing, culverts, silt dams, and rail bed reinforcement.
