About the Mix:
When I was asked to put this together I knew I wanted to lean towards the more stripped back, minimal spectrum of my sound. With the party and mix series being based out of Montréal, a former home of mine, I reflected a bit on the sound that shaped my taste while living there. It’s where I first came into being an adult, and a q***r person.
Looking where I am now at what I’ve been able to accomplish, it wouldn’t be possible without the incredible highs and lows of being freshly out of closet there where I first came into q***r nightlife.
Recorded using 2 CDJ Nexus-2000’s and a DJM-900, this mix explores minimal house and techno, house, tech house, acid, and breaks.
