This year marks the first annual Landworks Excavation Inc. "Pave It Forward" Giveaway - and we are proud to dedicate it to Carter Myra and his family.
Carter is a strong, kind, and determined young member of our community, a talented hockey player who has always shown incredible heart both on and off the ice. Carter was diagnosed with Pediatric Ewing Sarcoma on his 16th birthday and faced his treatment with a level of strength and courage that inspired everyone around him.
After bravely completing that fight, Carter has now relapsed. His cancer has returned and spread, and his journey has become even more difficult. Despite everything, Carter continues to show the same resilience, positivity and fight that define who he is.
We are coming together as a community to support Carter and his family during an unimaginable time, to help ease the financial burden, support ongoing treatments, and most importantly allow their family the time and space to be together and focus on what truly matters.
We are also incredibly grateful to be partnering with ARCP – Atlantic Road Construction & Paving, who have generously donated the asphalt for this project to help make this fundraiser possible.
Here’s how it works:
For every donation made to the Pave It Forward for Carter Myra GoFundMe, your name will be entered into a draw to win a complete new asphalt driveway or driveway repair (up to 500 sq ft, valued between $3,500–$5,000, must be within HRM). Each donation can also be used to nominate someone else who you feel is truly in need of a driveway overhaul. The draw will be held Friday May 15th at 5pm.

Whether you’re entering for yourself or putting someone forward who deserves a helping hand, every single contribution makes a difference. This is about more than a driveway - it’s about standing behind Carter, supporting his family, and showing them they are not alone.
