Some of our trees need a little help ‘straightening up’ as they grow, so we add fibreglass posts as close to the tree as possible.

This gives the tree the support it needs while allowing it the opportunity to grow tall and straight!

We call this ‘staking the trees’!

Why are some Blue Spruce BLUE… while others are GREEN?

Have you ever noticed that not every Blue Spruce has the same beautiful blue colour?

There’s actually a reason! Blue Spruce can naturally range from deep green to silvery-blue, and a lot of it comes down to genetics. Some trees inherit stronger blue colouring, while others are naturally much greener.

Sunlight, growing conditions and the age of the needles can also influence how blue a tree appears.

Do you prefer a Blue Spruce that’s deep blue, or one with more of a natural green colour?
