Myth vs. Fact 🦉

MYTH: "A fence is a fence, as long as the posts are in the ground, it'll hold up."

FACT: Post depth and footing are what actually determine whether your fence survives an Ontario winter. If posts aren't set below the frost line (locally, that means digging deep, not just "deep enough"), freeze-thaw cycles will heave them right out of the ground. That leaning, wobbly fence you see two years after installation? Nine times out of ten, it's a footing problem, not a materials problem.

We set every post to spec, no shortcuts, because we're the ones who get the call when it's done wrong the first time.

Fence and gate installation from start to finish

The song felt right for this one. Every post set, panel leveled and a gate hung with the same attention to detail, Hank Hill would approve.

This project came together for a client who wanted privacy without sacrificing curb appeal, and the timelapse says it better than we can: bare property line to a finished feature that actually adds value to the home.

5 stars from Sonia, and honestly, this review is a great example of what we do best. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This wasn't a full driveway replacement, it was a repair job done right. We relevelled a section of Sonia's paver driveway and resanded the whole thing with polymeric sand, so it all looks fresh and uniform again (not just patched).

We also built a custom access door into her composite decking, giving her easy access for future eavestrough repairs without tearing anything up down the line. That's the kind of detail that saves homeowners time and money for years to come.

Before and after doesn't get more satisfying than this one 🔨

Swapped out this tired, leaning fence for a clean new build, straight lines, solid posts, built to actually hold up through Hamilton winters (not just look good for one season).

This is the kind of project where the "owl's eye for detail" thing actually matters: post spacing, ground level changes, gate alignment, all the stuff you don't notice until it's done wrong.

Every year we get the same calls in late September. Someone wants a fence up before winter, and by then the schedule is already full through freeze up.

Here's how it actually works. Ground stays workable well into November most years, so fall is a great time to build. The catch is that the calendar fills in August, not in the fall. If a new fence is on your list for this year, now is the window to get a quote and get on the schedule.
