1 last demolition job to finish off 2025 & the scope was simple, living room carpet demolition to make room for brand new hardwood. 🆕️

Our team was able to carefully & surgically remove the carpet, tack strips & staples so as not to damage the existing surrounding hardwood threshold. 🚫

A great tip for preventing damage to any surface is to use painter's tape & create a protective tape layer over top of the edge you are intending to protect. 🛡

When choosing the correct paint sheen for your project there's a 3 things you must consider first. 🚨

LOCATION: Are you painting the walls, the ceiling, or the trim? & are you painting a bedroom or a high moisture area like a bedroom? 📍

DURABILITY: The less sheen the paint has, the less waterproof, & durable the paint is. This means that flat paint is much less durable than a high gloss paint & can be wiped off or faded more easily from scrubbing. 🛡

DEFECTS: The more sheen a paint has, the more defects it shows, meaning that a pearl finish will show much more defects on a wall than a matte finish will. 🔍

So if you have a high traffic area or you have kids & pets in your home, it might be a better decision to go with a pearl satin finish for your walls & high Gloss for your trim for the extra durability & ability to clean. 🧽

For this project, the scope included finishing 2 new operation rooms in this commercial dental office, which consisted of vinyl flooring installation, rubber baseboard installation, some minor drywall repairs & spot painting! 🖌

For this demolition project, the scope of work included ceiling removal for a single upstairs bedroom to install up to code insulation to aid in heat retention & access the roof to address a recurring moisture issue. 💦

The ceiling consisted of cement board, 2 layers of plaster & blow-in insulation. 💨

36 bags of garbage later, we were able to easily wrap up the tarp, which ensured the floor under was protected & kept clean during the demolition. 🚮

Our team was in & out within 5 hours, including preparation, demolition, garbage removal, & a deep cleaning. 🏃‍♂️

For this project, our team was able to bring this dated rental back into style with new Alexandria molding throughout the entire home. 🌟

This included replacing all of the old baseboards, window casing, & door casing that were damaged by the previous tenants' dogs. 🐕

The baseboard was installed with a gap underneath to make carpet installation simple for the carpet guys in the near future. 🗓

Before our team starts any demolition, the entire site is prepared by laying down floor/stair covering, moving/covering any furniture, sectioning off the demolition area with plastic & blocking all of the vents. 🛡

During the demolition, all of the water lines will be capped with temporary shark bites & the drains blocked to avoid debris clogging or damaging them. ✅️

To aid in dust prevention, we also use a fan to create negative air pressure. This pressure forces the majority of the dust outside of the house & the remainder is trapped inside the air scrubber. 💨

To finish everything off, all of the garbage will be disposed of into a bin we provide, & the entire area will be thoroughly vacuumed & mopped. 🧹
