🎉 SURPRISE! Pittock Is Open for Play! 🎉

We weren't expecting to make this announcement until tomorrow, but thanks to some incredible work on the ground, the newly redesigned course at Pittock Conservation Area is officially open for play today!

The new Fluent Borealis Championship Baskets are installed, temporary signage is in place, and players are welcome to get out and experience the course.

A huge thank you goes to Phillip Visser and his crew for the outstanding work they've done throughout this project. Not only does the course look fantastic, but they managed to get everything completed a full day ahead of schedule.

If you see Phil around the course, buy him a beer 🍻. He's earned it.

There are still a few finishing touches to come, including the permanent signage package and Grand Opening festivities, but the course is ready and waiting.

Get out there, throw some discs, and don't forget to tag us in your photos and videos!

🥏 Pittock Closure Reminder 🥏

Just a quick heads-up for everyone looking forward to the new course at **Pittock Conservation Area**.

The course will be **closed Tuesday through Thursday** while we complete the final basket installation and put up temporary signage around the course.

The good news? We're expecting the redesigned course to be available for play starting **Friday**! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone for their patience throughout this project. We know a lot of people have been eagerly waiting to get out and experience the new layout, and we're excited to finally be getting close.

We'll have more information about the official Grand Opening very soon.

🚧 Course Construction Update! 🚧

Exciting progress continues at Killarney Lake Park in Fredericton, New Brunswick!

Construction of the new tee pads is now underway, final trimming and fairway preparation continue throughout the property, and we're getting closer every day to welcoming players onto the course.

Our goal is to begin a soft launch of portions of the course in the not-too-distant future, with the remaining holes opening later this summer as work continues.

Like several of our newest projects, Killarney Lake Park will feature Fluent's Solum™ High Performance Turf System, delivering exceptional traction, durability, and year-round performance.

What makes this project especially exciting is the vision behind it. When complete, Killarney Lake Park will be a true championship-level disc golf facility, featuring elite-calibre design, professional-grade tees, championship baskets, premium signage, and the infrastructure needed to support large-scale tournaments and future broadcast coverage.

This isn't just a new course for Fredericton. It's a facility that has the potential to become one of Canada's premier disc golf destinations and a venue that both New Brunswick and Canada can proudly showcase to the world.

We're also excited to see the momentum building around disc golf in the province. A special nod to the New Brunswick Disc Golf Association and Fredericton Disc Golf for the work they're doing to grow the sport and help create opportunities for players across the region.

A tremendous amount of work has gone into bringing this project to life, and we're looking forward to sharing more updates as construction progresses.

🚧 Pittock Conservation Area Course Update 🚧

We're in the home stretch!

Course installation at Pittock Conservation Area is now complete, and we're preparing for the final transition to the new course.

⚠️ Temporary Course Closure: Between Tuesday and Thursday, the old baskets will be removed and replaced with new Fluent Borealis™ Championship Baskets. During this time, the course will be closed for play.

We'll also be installing temporary signage throughout the course while the permanent signage package is being finalized and prepared for installation.

Although some minor work will continue over the coming weeks, we're excited to announce that the new course will be available for play starting this Friday!

If you haven't heard the scuttlebutt, the 18-hole course has been completely redesigned, expanding into new areas of the park and growing to a Par 60/61 layout with both Red and Blue tees.

Despite the increase in length and challenge, we've worked hard to ensure each layout remains appropriate for its intended audience. The Reds will continue to provide a welcoming and accessible experience, while the Blues offer a more advanced layout designed for player development and tournament competition. We'll also be offering a Hybrid White layout on UDisc, blending holes from both layouts to create a strong intermediate experience.

Featuring Fluent Borealis™ Championship Baskets, Ontario's largest tee pads, and Fluent's new Solum™ High Performance Turf System, Pittock is poised to become one of the most exciting disc golf destinations in the province.

This project has been years in the making, and we're incredibly excited to see players finally get a chance to enjoy everything that the City of Woodstock, UTRCA, the contractors, and the local disc golf community have worked so hard to bring to life.

🚧 Course Installation Update! 🚧

We're getting close!

Installation at Pittock Conservation Area in partnership with the City of Woodstock and the UTRCA is nearly complete, and we're excited to share some of the progress being made on what will soon be one of Ontario's premier disc golf destinations.

The new tee pads are now installed and range from an impressive 6' x 12' all the way up to 6' x 16', a Fluent Disc Sport design staple, making them some of the largest tee pads you'll find anywhere in Ontario!

Pittock will also be one of the first courses to launch using Fluent's new Solum™ High Performance Turf System, designed to provide exceptional traction, durability, and year-round playability.

A special shout-out goes to Phillip Visser and his crew, who have done an incredible job not only installing the tee pads, but also beautifying the course and helping prepare it for opening day. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality speak for itself. Buy them a beer or 🍻 if you see them, they've earned it!

We're currently working on plans for a Grand Opening event and will be sharing details, along with information on when the course will officially be open for play, very soon.

We're excited to announce that we're working with the Town of Havelock-Belmont-Methuen to bring a new Disc Golf Discovery Zone to Mathison Conservation Area! 🥏🌲

This project will feature a 4-hole Discovery Zone and a Putting Station, creating a fun and approachable way for residents and visitors to experience disc golf in one of the area's beautiful natural settings.

Discovery Zones are designed to introduce new players to the sport, provide opportunities for skills development, and bring disc golf to parks and green spaces that may not have room for a traditional course.

We know you've been waiting, and we're excited to share that Washago Centennial Park's new Disc Golf Discovery Zone has officially been staked out and is now being prepared for installation! 🥏🌲

Coming soon to the park will be a 5-hole Disc Golf Discovery Zone along with 2 Putting Stations, creating a fun, accessible space for players of all ages and experience levels to learn, practice, and enjoy the sport.

We're also planning a Grand Opening Event, and attendees will have a chance to receive a Stokely Discs Wren putter while supplies last! 🎉

This past weekend marked the 1st major tournament on our new Fluent Disc Sport Borealis championship disc golf baskets and it couldn't have gone better!

We received countless compliments on how well they were catching, and how bright and vibrant the colour was. Really telling was the 10 aces over the weekend we were aware of, including 8 tournament aces! Congratulations to the 3 people who bought into the ace pot... and to the rest, you'll know better the next time you're playing on the Borealis! 😉

Two weeks, two huge wins for Fluent's Bryce Farley!!

After last weeks decisive win at the Muskoka Open, Bryce was up in South River, Ontario, competing in MA2 again at the 23rd running of the Black Fly Fling this past May 2-4 weekend. It's one of the provinces longest running tournaments and a long weekend fan favourite on the tour!

Bryce finished round 1 tied for first with one of our favourite card mates Chris Bunce, only scoring a single bogie through the round. After lunch Bryce stepped on the gas and opened up a whopping 8 stroke lead, an excellent way to finish the day! On Sunday morning, things started off slower, but Bryce maintained his 8 stroke lead carding a -5 for the round, including the only tournament eagle on hole 17!

Going into the final round Bryce wasn't feeling great, he managed to get sun-stroke during the lunch break in the hot sun. He wanted to thank all everyone for their help getting through that rough spot, and send a special thanks to Jody Slade and Mindy Myall for the salty snacks, water, and juice boxes, they made a huge difference! Thank you! It took a good dozen holes of play before Bryce started feeling better, letting his lead fall back to 3 strokes at one point, but he was determined to push through. Over the last 9 holes he carded 5 birdies and finished the round 7 strokes ahead with a 4-round total of -20!

To all his card mates over the 4 rounds, Chris, Ricky, Andrew, Jesse, Justin, Bradley, Angus, Mike, it was a blast, always a positive vibe going and just plain fun for the whole weekend. Cheers guys!

And a final big thanks to the South Riviera crew, the and especially Jay de Jager, and Jody Slade, and all the other volunteers for putting on a perfect weekend! WE'RE IN SOUTH RIVER!!! ❤🇨🇦

Way to go to Fluent's own Bryce Farley for taking down MA2 by a whopping 4 strokes at the 2026 Muskoka Open. With a field of 22 players in MA2, Bryce played 49 points above his rating, maxing out with a 957 rated first round.

He showed true grit battling through an ankle injury (big thanks to card mate Tanner Sleep for taping it near the end of round 1)! He came back from 2nd to tie for 1st 3-ways in round 2, and then turned it on in round 3 to open up to a 6 strokes lead at one point. He held on to finish 4 strokes up to defend his Muskoka Open title for the 3rd year in a row, and secure his spot in the 2026 Ontario Provincial Disc Golf Championships!

Congratulations to Gabriel Dixon, Chris Bunce, and Alasdair Robertson for securing your spots as well, it was great playing with all of you! See you all in Kemptville in September!

Lastly, big thanks to Wolf Tracks Disc Golf and Limberlost Forest and Wildlife Reserve for hosting, and all the hard work that went into prepping the courses!
