JOURNEYPERSON PLUMBER / GAS FITTER
Thompson Rivers Plumbing is looking for an experienced Journeyperson Plumber/Gas Fitter to join our growing team in Kamloops, BC.
For more than 25 years, we have provided professional plumbing services throughout Kamloops and the surrounding area. We’re looking for a dependable, skilled tradesperson who takes pride in quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Position Details
• Full-time employment
• Monday to Friday
• $35–$50 per hour, based on qualifications and experience
• Local work in Kamloops and surrounding communities
• Opportunities for additional hours and emergency-service work
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair plumbing and gas-system issues
• Complete plumbing and gas installations, maintenance and service work
• Install and replace fixtures, piping and related equipment
• Ensure all work complies with applicable building, plumbing and gas codes
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members
• Maintain clean, organized and safe jobsites
• Accurately document completed work and required materials
Qualifications
• Certified Journeyperson Plumber
• Current BC Gas Fitter certification
• Relevant service, repair and installation experience
• Valid BC driver’s licence and a dependable driving record
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
