If any plumber or hvac guy suggests that you flush your tank once a year, this is why.

This tank was only 9 years old. 6 months out of warranty. Bottom rusted out and was leaking on the floor. I can fix that! … or rather… replace that… 😂

I did a bit of a unique install the other day. Furnace and ac coil pointed in opposite directions, return duct on both sides.

Split level homes always have the most interesting duct. As creative as the duct work is in this home, it actually works!

Last furnace and ac were 20 years old, both were starting to have problems. Instead of chasing problems and putting money into near end of life equipment, customer opted for new replacements. Yup, I can do that 👍

I was called for a second quote on a new ac.

This furnace was installed just a couple of months ago. This is a bad job. The duct static pressure (air pressure in the duct) was so high it was shaking the whole furnace and drastically reducing the ac efficiency.

I took a bunch of measurements and nerded out a bit… 😀. I was able to give the customer some concrete facts and documentation to take to the installing company.

The company admitted their mistakes and came to fix the duct! No additional charge to the customer.

Unfortunately, the 20 year old ac has multiple issues and will need to be replaced, but not this year! I did a service on it and they’ll be good to go for the rest of the summer 👍

Yes, I can do commercial units too! This one just happened to be on a residential house.

This poor unit hasn’t been touched in at least 4 years and had finally stopped cooling. It has multiple issues, as old roof tops often do. However, I got them up and cooling again and even prevented a couple of electrical shorts! Should be good for the rest of the summer!

This photo is a reason I love residential work. This little girl has a playroom that is uninhabitable during the hot summer days. An hvac system was not installed in a bonus room of this home. I can fix that. Mini split coming soon, but already she’s so happy that I’m going to fix her playroom (“the hot room” as she has named it).

Love residential hvac and the people that come with it!

This is the 3rd or 4th pass with the hose, the water coming out is still a bit brown. It didn’t even look that dirty, but it was!

You should spray down your outdoor condenser once a year. If you’re not comfortable getting in there this deep to clean it, I know a guy.
It’s me! I’m the guy I know! Give me a call if you need an hvac’r!

“My hvac is only 4 years old, do I need a service?”
Yup! Get a proper professional to look at your high efficient hvac equipment every 2 years, minimum.

I was at one of these places to install a new ac and the other to add a duct to a new office space. I can’t help it, I have to look inside the furnace! Good thing…
