Attention!

The fair is a week away! That's why we are posting this notice:

No parking is allowed along the trackside fence in the infield area of the fairgrounds.

In addition, parking inside the white fenced area is reserved for exhibitors and participants only.

Spectators must park in one of the designated public parking areas on the fairgrounds.

Any vehicles parked along the trackside fence ahead of the Truck and Tractor Pull will be towed away.

Bleachers will be placed along the fence for spectator seating at the Truck and Tractor Pull.

Kinmount Fair – Heritage Complex September 4,5,6 2026

The Farmerettes are coming to Kinmount Fair!!! Well, the Farmerette documentary, We Lend a Hand, is going to be screened all three days of the fair in the Heritage Complex included with your fair admission (FREE!!!). It is an award-winning, always sold-out show being screened in Canada. Bring your teenagers to show them how teenagers in the 1940's (their grandmothers' era) stepped up and helped win the second World War on the Homefront!!! Our centrepiece under the tent will be a vintage tractor with a 'farmerette' on board to provide a backdrop for photos!!!
More 'Victories on the Homefront' will include presentations on Victory Gardens, Victory Bonds, Recipes from Rations, Women in the Workforce, 'Ronnie the Bren Gun Girl’, the birth a hundred years ago of the Royal Canadian Legions, and regular displays of toys and yes, the train will be there!! We're trying to set up a Kinmount Fair Heritage room in the south building. Our 'tatter', Ruth will be demonstrating her craft, and the Minden District Fur Harvesters will also be attending. Also the Trent Lakes Historical Society will show their research on United Empire Loyalists in the local area as well as their current projects. The Heritage Tea Garden will be serving their wonderful baking and coffee!!! We'll have our regular musical entertainers performing as well.
Did I mention Fridays events?? The Kinmount Fair Ambassador will be crowned at 2pm and the Lion's Citizen of the Year will be awarded at 3pm!!!
