Yum, this is the first curry squash I've harvested this year. They are a strong favorite of mine. For dinner I will bake this and then make a soup.

Lot's of mystery tomatoes.

Peppers, about 30 left
Twingo, sweet yellow box
Ancho, green stuffing and roasting
Long red Cheyenne mildly hot
Red Habanero, hot hot hot

Cucumbers, about 20 left
Patio snacker, small fresh eating
National pickling, small
Cucamellon, small round
Socreties medium size

We planted a bunch of extra to sell but it's now about as late as any of these should go in the ground so we are giving away whats left. The more you take the happier we will be

Broccoli is coming in nicely, Raspberries are ripening, corn and onions are up, pepper and basil planted in the new bed. Hugelkultur bed has pumpkin and many flowers on it, more to go in over the coming days. Enough strawberries and peas to eat and freeze. Life is good here in our little slice of paradise.

Our first nasturtium flower, have yours flowered yet. Put a picture in the comments ! This year we sold more nasturtiums then anything, I only ended up with around 30 for myself.

Here at the little nelson project we like food. We live local ingredients but we also love foods from other cultures. Here is a Mexican inspired breakfast with homemade corn tortillas.
