Weβve all heard at least one horror π± story from friends or family whoβve hired a bad contractor . And the truth is, it can be hard to find a reliable one these days. ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
About a year ago, our client hired a contractor to do some work at his residence in Orangeville, ON π¨π¦. ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Based on a verbal π£ π agreement and sketches of the project, our client gave the contractor a considerable deposit π° up front and expected the work to begin the next day. ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
The work got underway βwell enoughβ, but the contractor never showed up to finish the work βΌοΈ. Their construction crew left behind some of their equipment, leaving an enormous mess around the property. They never returned and ignored the phone calls and emails πΆπ€¬. ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
In time this bad work started to impact the livability of the space and even impact the overall value β¬οΈ π΅ of the home π‘ . ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
Most homeowners can push through these stresses by focusing on how excellent their living space will be after the remodel is over. Unfortunately , for our client, the headache π€ didnβt end when construction does, instead , he had to find a way to fix the damage done to his residence . ββββββββββββββββββββββββ
