🧦 🍂 HAPPY SOCKTOBER!! 🍂 🧦

Everyone knows that around here, we’re pretty passionate about keeping our community cozy and comfortable.

Which is why when we found out that socks are one of the most needed items, yet fall amongst the least donated items we wanted to help!

Throughout October, we'll be collecting new socks in support of SOCKS Kingston's SOCKTOBER campaign - and we would love your help!

You can:

🧦 Drop off a new pair (or a few!) at our office between 8:30AM and 4PM, Monday to Friday.
🧦 Add a monetary donation to your Tozer invoice and we'll purchase socks on your behalf
🧦 Pass along your sock donation to your technician, and he will happily courier them back to our collection box!

SOCKS Kingston have advised that they are currently prioritizing new ADULT socks, but will happily accept other sizes.

Every pair helps, and we’re determined to make this SOCKTOBER a good one.

🍂 Yup. It definitely feels like the first day of fall around here!

Crispy mornings. Sunny afternoons. And temperatures that are just cool enough to make you think about turning the heat on.

So here's your friendly reminder: test your heating system!

Before you actually NEED your furnace, turn it on and give it a little test run.

🌡️ Turn your thermostat up 2–3 degrees.
🔥 Let it run for about 10 minutes.
💨 Check that you're getting warm air from the registers.
👂 Listen for anything unusual.
👃 Take note of any funky smells that don't seem quite right.

Have a heat pump? This applies to you too.
Even if your heat pump is doing the heavy lifting, it's worth making sure your backup heat is ready to kick in when you need it most.

Because backup heat is there for those really cold days… not for discovering that it has a problem at 6:00 AM when it's -20°C outside. 🥶

And honestly? We'd much rather help you sort out a little problem now, while the weather is still relatively mild, than meet you during an emergency when your house is getting colder by the minute.

Everything working? Fantastic. Enjoy that little piece of peace of mind.

Something seem off? Give us a call. We'd be happy to help you figure it out before your furnace gets the opportunity to ruin your morning.

Future-you will thank you. 🍂🔥

Happy National Tradesmen Day! 🛠️🔥❄️

Today, we want to give a massive shoutout to our incredible team!

Whether they are installing a new system in the freezing cold, repairing an AC in the blistering heat, working in attics, crawlspaces, mud, and, well, we won't enlighten you into any of the other situations they often find themselves in.... our technicians show up and give it their all every single day.

HVAC is a very demanding, highly skilled trade, and we truly believe we have the best in the business.

Starting with Mr. Tozer, of course! Dave has always believed that what matters most is making people happy — taking care of your people, taking care of your customers, and doing the job right. That philosophy has been at the heart of Tozer from the beginning, and it’s a big part of the incredible reputation he has built over the years.

And when we say reputation, we mean it. Those Google stars aren't just numbers on a screen — they represent the effort and pride that our team put forth every day for our customers and the trust they put in our team when they invite us into their homes.

Dave has built something pretty special, and the best part is that he knows it takes great people to keep it going. He’s set a standard where craftsmanship matters, customer service matters, and, perhaps most importantly, people matter. We’re pretty proud to carry that forward every day.

To our team: Jeff, Brendan, Ryan, Jett, Josh, Derrick, Herb, Donald, Adam, Brad, Kenny, Alex, Justin, Tristen, Kyle, Aaron, Cameron, Jack, Cooper, and John — thank you for your hard work, dedication, expertise, and the outstanding service you provide to our community. We appreciate everything you do!

Please join us in thanking our amazing crew in the comments below! 👇

500 GOOGLE REVIEWS!!

Every review means someone took a few minutes out of their day to tell others about their experience with our team — and for a small, locally owned business, that means a LOT.

So when that 500th review came in today?
Yeah… we celebrated it like it was our first one. 🙌

Because to a small team, 500 people taking the time to say, “These guys did a great job,” is a pretty big deal.

Thank you, Kingston and surrounding communities, for trusting our team and for taking the time to tell others about your experience.

Brad is ready for 500 high fives!! 👏

Not Thursday. Don't care. We're throwing it back anyway!

We wanted to join in on the fun and see what would happen if we combined some of our team with:

Walkmans
Saved By The Bell
A questionable amount of acid wash denim
Matching windbreakers
Shoulder pads
Boom Boxes
VHS Tapes
And enough hair to clog a furnace filter for 40 years....

We're not sure if these guys look like they're about to fix your furnace or drop the hottest mix tape of the 80's!! 😂

Who wore the 80's best?!

Bonus points if you can guess who's who!

Oh look! It’s our very own Jack-in-a-box!

We believe good HVAC isn’t just felt, it’s seen - and sometimes, it’s seen in the most absurd circumstances…

To us, it’s the difference between “good enough” and pulling out an umbrella in a downpour just to finish the job right.

Caption Jett’s internal monologue right here: is he thinking about the clean condenser unit or about how wet his socks are getting? Wrong answers only in the comments 👇🏼🤣
