Not a very safe device to check out transformer should be using a whole system. Use a voltage tester.

This would fail inspection you’re not allowed to cover up cement conduit because somebody could drill a hole through that or you are going to cover it up. It’s gonna be about 4 inches thick over the conduit for the inspection.

Here in Canada we must use a “crimp“ type connection on the ground wire!
I use the same type as you did and the inspector order me to replace with a “crimp type”!
