A little walk for a big problem! Please consider supporting my walk to help local people in the KINGSTON area who are experiencing hurt, hunger or homelessness.

On February 24, I'm walking in the Coldest Night of the Year - a winter fundraiser for people in my community who need my support.

Coldest Night of the year walk complete! Thank you to everyone who made this afternoon a success. Together we raised $93,590 (and counting) to help people in Kingston experiencing hunger, homelessness and hurt.

Custom home building company looking for carpenter helper/laborer for long term, full time employment. We are a small company looking for an individual to grow with us. Looking for someone to form a career and not just a job. Duties include:
Build footings
ICF foundation
Framing
Some shingling
Siding
Some drywall
Flooring
Trim
Kitchens
general labor work

Must have own transportation to job sites within 40 minutes of Kingston.
Monday-Friday work typically 7:30-4:30 and sometimes optional weekend work for extra hours.

Which one is right for me? HRV or ERV?

HRVs have been more commonly used in homes where the primary concern is high humidity in winter. ERVs are typically recommended where moderating between humidity extremes is a year-round concern.

What are HRV / ERVs?
Heat recovery ventilators (HRV) and energy recovery ventilators (ERV) are air exchange systems that help to enhance indoor air quality and minimize heating costs. They retain existing heat and optimize the interior moisture content in the air.

What is the difference between an HRV and an ERV?
The primary difference between the two is that an HRV transfers heat while an ERV transfers both heat and moisture. Both ventilation systems place the control of air quality and air exchange in the hands of the homeowner.
