Sometimes the right renovation changes everything🛗

For one of our clients, getting between two floors had become a daily challenge. Not impossible but exhausting. The kind of thing that quietly chips away at your independence, until the home you love starts to feel like it's working against you.

This week, we're celebrating a huge milestone - Luke and Ben on the Renovation side, Devon, Shawn and Karl on the Drywall side have all hit their 5-year anniversary with Jackman. Five incredible team members, all marking the same milestone at the same time 🙌

A milestone so nice, we celebrated it twice!

Last month, we marked reaching the top at 45 Courtland Ave with a Spring Milestone Ceremony alongside our trades and project partners.

More recently, we had the privilege of placing the signed banner from the event, filled with the signatures of those who helped bring this project to life, inside the final beam on the roof.

It’s more than just a milestone, it’s a lasting mark of collaboration, commitment, and craftsmanship that will stand in Downtown Kitchener for years to come.

A few weeks ago, Eureka at 1000 King St East reached its Topping Out 🏗️ the moment when the highest point of a building's structure is complete.

To mark the milestone, our team gathered on site for a tree ceremony. Each person tied a ribbon🎗️ onto a young tree — a nod to a safe build, a thank you for the work, and a hope for the building and everyone who will one day call it home🌿

The tree will be planted on site when construction wraps up. The ribbons stay on. With 29 storeys now standing, interior finishes are underway. Eureka is on track to open Summer 2027🌱

A few weeks ago, we had 29 reasons (and then some) to celebrate an incredible milestone — the Topping Out of Eureka at 1000 King St East 🎉🏗️

Future residents can choose from 1, 2, and even 4-bedroom layouts (yes — 4-bedroom rentals!), plus innovative live/work units designed for modern lifestyles.

And the views? Absolutely worth the climb. From the 29th floor, you can take in iconic local sights like the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium and the lush greens of Rockway Golf Course ⛳👀

The name Eureka is a nod to the site's industrial roots, once home to Onward Manufacturing Company, where vacuum cleaners were produced — a fitting tribute to innovation, past and present.
