Here are our Superintendent and Foreman out at the Woolner Site, using GPS technology to verify the layout as we continue Wall number 15. By pulling the digital model directly onto the handhelds in the field, the team gets a live look at the project's coordinates in real-time. It’s how we eliminate guesswork, cut down on re-work, and make sure every foot of the wall is perfectly aligned and built to last.

Last week, our team traded our work boots for plasma cars at the .ca Plasma Car Race. It was a high-energy day of head-to-head racing, all for an incredible cause.

We might not have been the fastest on the track, but we were definitely the most stylish—we came home with the "Best Dressed Team" trophy! 🏆

Most importantly, alongside 20 other local companies, we surpassed KidsAbility's fundraising goal! These funds go directly toward KidsAbility and their vital programs for children and youth with physical, developmental, and communication challenges.

A huge thank you to KidsAbility for hosting such a fantastic event. We look forward to next year! 🏎️💨

The best plants you aren't using... 🤫

Most people buy what’s easy to find, but "easy" often means invasive. If you want a garden that looks high-end and supports Southern Ontario’s ecosystem without taking over your entire property, it’s time to make these swaps:

Instead of Periwinkle: Plant Wild Geranium. It creates a lush carpet of blooms that actually feeds hummingbirds rather than just choking out the soil.

Instead of Lily-of-the-Valley: Plant Starry Solomon’s Seal. It loves the shade and spreads exactly how you want it to—predictably.

Instead of Miscanthus Grass: Plant Big Bluestem. You get the height and movement without the risk of it escaping into local prairies.

Instead of Boxwood: Plant Inkberry. It gives you that same classic evergreen structure without the heartbreak of Boxwood moth invasions.

Instead of English Ivy: Plant Wild Strawberry. It’s a native groundcover that stays low and even gives you edible fruit.

Choosing native isn’t just about "being green"—it’s about planting a garden that actually belongs here. 🐝🦋
