Backsplash Rescue!

We had a new client come to us to finish some details on their kitchen after a not so great experience elsewhere. We are so glad we were able to help them and end their renovation on a great note!

These are tough situations to come into, but after seeing the state of the area where the backsplash was being installed, we knew we needed to help.

When I first started this company I was primarily focused on Drywall Finishing & Plaster Restoration. Over the last decade we have expanded considerably into full drywall contracting, plaster restoration and Venetian plaster so the brand has needed a revamp! What do we think?!

Did a 4’ crack from brief water damage into a very tough texture blend due to its location in the middle of a large open ceiling but it turned out really well!

- Did temporary floor and wall tarp bubble prep

- Cut out the old tape and V’d out the crack

- Re screwed the seem where there was some sag

- Fibafuse/2 coat plaster combo and making sure to massage the plaster into the existing texture to ensure there was no visible start and stop from patch to existing

- Matched spray/wipe direction and thickness as best as possible

- Clean up and out!

A client moved from Kitchener to Tillsonburg to a new build and needed the builder grade garage spruced up for paint! A bit of a drive for a small garage that’s already been taped and coated but the builder declined to finish it for them so here I am!

Skimmed the angles, flats, and butts, doubled up the screws and the corner bead so it’s all ready for finish sand and paint on Monday.

Update on our Linwood drywall project! This large house is divided into 2 separate spaces that share a common backyard. Very cool build and side 2 is ready for sand and side 1 is ready for finishing next week!
