A mudroom that’s anything but ordinary🐾✨

There’s a lot we love about this mudroom. The contrast between the warm wood shelving and white cabinetry, the terrazzo-look flooring that adds personality and all the storage tucked away behind cabinet doors.

It’s a practical space, but there’s no reason it can’t be beautiful, too!

A little sneak peek at a space designed for everyday living.

Thoughtful storage, beautiful finishes and Cash, who seems to think this renovation was done just for him.

The full mudroom reveal is coming tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Love your home, but need more room?

Your basement could become a comfortable place for family evenings, hosting friends or welcoming overnight guests.

At Clamel Design Build, we plan and build basement renovations in Calgary around how you want to use your space. We take on a limited number of projects at a time so we can stay closely involved in each one.

If you’re wondering what’s possible in yours, let’s start with a conversation about your ideas, budget and next steps!

Warm and earthy, with an artisanal feel.

Each tile is bringing subtle variations in texture that give this shower its character. Would you choose green for your bathroom?✨🪴

We wanted our booth to feel warm and inviting, with natural textures and thoughtfully chosen pieces. The beautiful furniture from EQ3 made such a difference to the space and Urban Treasures helped us pull it all together with decor for the shelves and coffee table.

Thank you both for being part of our first Calgary Fall Home Show. It wouldn’t have felt the same without you!🤍

We’ve shared our Best in Show news, but I wanted to give a special thank you to two people who put so much into making that weekend possible.

Claudiu, my husband and partner in Clamel, thank you for the hours of work, the care in every detail and for building the booth we had imagined together. Sharing this moment with you meant so much.

Justin drove all the way from Winnipeg with our staging pieces, helped bring everything together and stayed through the teardown. We’re so grateful for your hard work and support.

Pictured with us is Alex, whose beautiful hand-applied Marmorino plaster was part of what made the space so special.

The award is something we’re proud of. So are the people standing beside us.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Calgary Fall Home Show!✨🪴

What an incredible weekend at Booth 559. We were so honoured to receive the Best in Show award, and so grateful to everyone who stopped by to chat about their projects and share in the moment with us.

This booth was truly a team effort, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing people who helped bring it to life. A huge thank you to:

Alex at Alex Kurkunets for the beautiful painting and finishing work
Urban Treasures Urban Treasures for the stunning staging
EQ3 EQ3 for providing the furniture

To everyone who made this weekend possible, thank you. We’re more inspired than ever, and we can’t wait to show you what’s next!

Quality is something you can point to at the end of a project. Calm is something you feel the whole way through by knowing who to call, knowing the timeline, not chasing us for answers.

This is the part clients don't always think to ask for but it's the part we build every project around.🤍
