⚡️ A quick electrical safety reminder!

This receptacle needed replacing after it overheated and partially melted. It was wired using the stab-in connections on the back, which can sometimes become a problem over time.

This is not something that happens frequently, so no need to panic! But it’s a good idea to occasionally take a quick look at the receptacles around your home.

👀 Watch for:
• Black or charred marks
• Discolouration or melted plastic
• Unusual warmth
• Buzzing, crackling or sparking

If something doesn’t look right, have us take a look. Sometimes a quick visual check can catch a problem before it becomes a bigger one! ⚡
