Maple stair parts with round black metal spindles. In this case, the packaging was left on the spindles to protect them during the staining/finishing process and can be easily removed afterwards.

Past project: Edge-Grain Fir custom bookshelf with bench seat. The bench seat contained a retractable pullout bed frame that could transform the office into a spare bedroom for guests. This was in a beautiful custom home built by Wilco Construction Ltd. on Salt Spring Island and featured in Boulevard Magazine!
